Sitestack and Zutec

Sitestack or Zutec?

Zutec is aimed at larger, regulated work: build to rent, housebuilders, asset owners and the golden thread. Sitestack is a day to day site tool for building firms of every size. They overlap at handover.

Fair is fair

Where Zutec is stronger.

We would rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one.

  • Handover and asset data

Zutec has done document control, handover and asset information for over 25 years and names large housebuilders and build to rent owners as customers. Sitestack's handover tools are newer.

  • Certifications and track record

Zutec lists BSI Kitemarks and named enterprise clients. Sitestack has neither yet, and does not claim them.

  • Regulated jobs

If your client demands a golden thread and a common data environment, Zutec is built for that conversation.

Our side

Where Sitestack is stronger.

  • A day to day site tool

Site diary, photos, snags, variations, RFIs and safety on every job, from the phone in your pocket. Zutec's strength is the record that is handed over at the end.

  • A price you can read

Zutec sells by demo. Sitestack publishes every price and offers a 14 day trial with every tool on.

  • Right size for small and mid size firms

You do not need a platform roll out to start. Free logins for the supply chain mean the whole job can join on day one.

The short answer

Which should you pick?

Pick Zutec if

You deliver large regulated schemes where the client asks for a managed handover and asset information platform.

Pick Sitestack if

You want the site run well every day, with handover packs built from records you already keep, at a price you can see.

Questions

Sitestack or Zutec: questions.

Does Sitestack do handover like Zutec?
Sitestack has handover packs, aftercare and COBie export in the Handover and Reporting add-on. Zutec has a much longer record and more depth on large regulated schemes. Compare both against what your client asks for.
How much does Zutec cost?
Zutec does not publish a price. A UK government listing gives a very wide range per unit per month and does not say what a unit is. Ask for a written quote.
