Sitestack and Access Fonn

Sitestack or Fonn?

Fonn is the closest product to Sitestack: UK, phone first, aimed at contractors without a big IT team. The biggest difference today is that Sitestack publishes its prices and Fonn asks for a quote.

Cost

What it costs.

Access Fonn charges like this: A flat yearly fee, not per user, subcontractor or project. No price is published; you request a quote. Tiers differ in how many extra modules you can add.

Fair is fair

Where Access Fonn is stronger.

We would rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one.

  • Track record and customers

Fonn shows named customers, case studies, a Trustpilot rating and a stated seven day onboarding. Sitestack has not launched yet and shows none of these.

  • Backing and security credentials

As part of the Access Group it cites ISO 27001 and a large parent company. Sitestack is an independent start up.

  • Unlimited users in the fee

Its fee is flat and covers unlimited users, which suits a firm with a large team.

Our side

Where Sitestack is stronger.

  • Published prices

Fonn pricing is by request. Sitestack lists every plan and add-on, so you can budget without a call.

  • Built by a working construction company

Sitestack came out of JLS Building and Property Development's own jobs. Fonn is now one product in a very large software group.

  • Pay for what you use

A core app for domestic work and refurbishment, with flat priced add-ons for safety, live environments, networks and contracts. You are not buying a module bundle.

  • Specialist depth

Tools for HV, LV and utility contractors, occupied buildings and JCT or NEC4 administration. Check Fonn's module list against your work.

The short answer

Which should you pick?

Pick Sitestack if

You want to see the price first, try it for 14 days with everything on, and deal with the people who build it.

Questions

Sitestack or Access Fonn: questions.

Is Sitestack cheaper than Fonn?
Fonn does not publish a price and outside listings disagree, so we cannot give a fair number. Ask Fonn for a written quote and compare it with the cost table on this page.
Is Fonn more established?
Yes. It has named customers, case studies and a larger parent company. Sitestack is new, so judge it on the 14 day trial.
